I got kooks on my vette and mac on my mach. The macs rust and the kooks don't but the price difference is huge. I think kooks are too exspensive but they are nice.

Oh I know. Take my car. The same part that you would buy for a reg Mustang GT will cost 200-400 for dollars for the shelby. Sometimes it pisses me off

SLP

Post  Fordracing89 on Tue Aug 10, 2010 7:52 pm

My personal favorite would have to be SLP, for long tubes and the Dr. Gas X pipe that they sell with it. I have personally put SLP LT's on 4 cars and the fit and finish were top notch on all 4 sets. Install is so much easier when instructions are clear, concise, and the parts are what you paid for. Yes they are mid- to upper line. I went with MAC shortys on my ttop car because the price was 100 bucks and they were the industrial coating-- now thinking I may change to a different set of ceramic or titanium coated shorties- why not long tubes? I like my 3 inches of ground clearance already! The collectors would have to be slip fit- This way I already have a SS mid pipe, SS exhaust just have to bolt on and go.

Sully you should know that you have to pay to play! I would say because you drive you car alot, including winter, get something that will not rust. Salt is a big problem when it comes to underneath the car.

I agree! I am pretty decided on the kooks system though. I don't plan on driving it again in the winter!
