A Dyno days in K-town Empty Right time right place

Post  csullyracing Sat Aug 21, 2010 7:18 am

Well in June and july the wife and I were racing a 2010 v6 mustang because mine was in shop and throughout the process I we were able to get the car to run a 15.701 beating a 2008 gt. We entered the eliminator and came in third place. Just so happens officials the run the pro et circuit we there chatting with silke and Gary over dinner and Becky and I were the subject of discussion. They were impressed with our tuning and driving abilities. Gary and silke told them that I had a Shelby that was fast and that I have pulled a perfect rt time. Result was an invitation to the pro et. I had to apply for a drag licen end from dmbs Frankfurt witch is the European equiv of nhra they had to get approval from nhra to issue me the license. Well it's in my wallet.

I am just wondering how much they will charge for vinyl? I want to have them put my red racing stripes on. Oh and does this start at 0800 Saturday or 0900 because I have heard both times. Thanks

I got mine dyno done here http://www.schropp-fahrzeugtechnik.de/dyno.html. It is one of the nicest dynos out there that I have come across so far. Plus it shows you the numbers you would put on the street, so they are not inflated in any way. I would only do your dyno there, dont do any car repair I have heard bad things about that. It runs about 80 euro a pull.

Word on the street is that in Spang there will be a dyno at the skill center, ~1.1K WHP limit, 2wheel drive only, in ground dyno, with full setup(fans, O2, laptop stuff, and training) for the staff, should be a lot cheaper per pull/hour then anywhere else in germany. I know of a few places in the states that will do a remote dyno tune, should be a lot better then the canned tune stuff.
